Who Actually Owns These Casinos

Home » Who Actually Owns These Casinos

Most casino sites tell you who runs them in one line at the bottom of the page. I went looking for that line on all thirty six casinos I review, and on most of them it does not exist.

So I used a second source the operators do not control. Hungary’s regulator publishes a register of blocked gambling addresses, and every entry carries the name of the company it holds responsible. Twenty seven of my thirty six are in it.

Put the two together and a pattern appears that no comparison list shows you. Thirty six casino brands are not thirty six businesses. Several of them are the same company wearing a different logo.

Every Casino and the Company Behind It

The third column matters as much as the second. A name from a state register and a name a casino prints about itself are not the same kind of evidence, and I keep them apart.

Three of these entries are blanks the regulator itself could not fill. For HellSpin, SafeCasino and DragonSlots the register records the owner as unknown, and those three carry 37 blocked addresses between them.

One Company, Several Casinos

This is the finding that changes how you build a shortlist. Four companies account for eighteen of the thirty six brands on this site.

NovaForge Ltd. is recorded behind seven: BassBet, StoneVegas, BillyBets, Zet, WinRolla, Spinline and MrPacho. Araxio Development N.V. is recorded behind five: Wazamba, Buran, Nomini, FEZbet and Cadoola. TechSolutions Group N.V. is behind four: 20bet, BetLabel, National and Bizzo. Novatrix SRL is behind two, BetiBet and Playfina.

Think about what that means in a dispute. If a withdrawal stalls at one of those seven NovaForge brands, moving your money to a second one puts you in front of the same company, the same payments desk and the same house rules.

It also explains why sibling brands feel identical. The welcome offer, the wagering multiple and the five hundred euro daily ceiling repeat across them because one team wrote them once.

The Two That Share a License Number

BetiBet and Playfina are the clearest case on this page, and neither of them hides it. Both footers name Novatrix SRL, incorporated in Costa Rica, and both print the same company registration number, 3-102-893958.

They also print the same registered address in the County of Oreamuno, and the same e-gaming license, number 0000002 from the Tobique Gaming Commission. Two brands, one license.

I am not saying that is improper. I am saying that if you opened accounts at both to spread your risk, you did not spread anything.

What the Footers Actually Say

Reading thirty six footers in a row, they fall into three groups, and the gap between the first and the third is wide.

The open ones give you everything. VeloBet names Santeda International B.V., a Curacao company number of 151296, and license OGL/2024/1798/1048 from the Curacao Gaming Authority. It even names Santeda International Limited as the payment agent of the parent. You could check every one of those.

The middle group gives numbers without a name. CasinoChan prints Curacao registration number 152125, an address on Scharlooweg in Willemstad and license OGL/2023/174/0082, but never says which company that is.

The closed ones give nothing. AzurSlot says only that the website is owned by a company registered in Cyprus whose parent sits in Curacao, with no name, no number and no license reference. BassBet and GreatWin do not even go that far. Their footers end at a copyright line and a brand name.

That last group is why the Hungarian register is worth reading. BassBet tells you nothing about itself, and a government record names NovaForge Ltd. behind thirty seven of its addresses.

How I Checked This

Two sources, kept separate on purpose. The first is each casino’s own site, where I read the footer, the about page and the terms for any company name, registration number or license reference.

The second is the register of blocked gambling websites published by Hungary’s regulatory authority, which held 5,884 entries when I read it. Each row names a domain and the organization the authority holds responsible for it.

A register entry proves what a regulator recorded, not what a company register in Curacao or Cyprus would show today. Ownership can change and brands get sold, so treat every line here as a reading taken this week rather than a permanent fact.

Four casinos are blank because I could not reach them. Asino, 22Casino and Cosmobet did not load on any attempt, and Rolletto sent me to a mirror with a certificate warning that I will not click through to read a footer.

Ownership is one filter. These are the others I apply across the same thirty six casinos.

Casinos by Category

The license question is settled for all fifteen, so what separates them is everything that happens after you deposit.

Casinos by Country

Each market writes its own rules, and the list of casinos that will take you changes with them. These are the others I cover in the same depth.

The legal position changes who holds your money, not what a game pays. These guides cover the rules, the returns and where to try a game without funding anything.

I came to this from finance, which is probably why I read a casino the way I read a contract. The marketing sits on the homepage, and the clause that decides whether you get paid sits twelve pages down.
