Velobet scores 6 out of 10 with me. It runs on the same license as Cosmobet, offers a cheaper bonus, and hides one clause that should make you think twice.
That clause is the dormancy fee. Leave the account alone for sixty days and they take twenty percent of your balance, every month, until it is gone.
| What I scored | Score | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Game selection | 10 / 10 | 9,846 casino games and 590 live tables by their own counter, with Evolution and Playtech on the live side |
| Bonus value | 5 / 10 | 30x the deposit and the bonus, but a 150 percent match and a 30 day clock bring it to about 5,000 euros of turnover per 100 of bonus |
| Terms fairness | 5 / 10 | Five of the twelve risk clauses I check, against a Curacao license number I verified in the regulator’s register |
| Payouts and support | 5 / 10 | Three banking days written into the terms, a 10 euro minimum, and no casino fee on the way out |
How this adds up. Each of the four is scored from one to ten. I add them, divide by four, and round the average to the nearest whole number, with a half rounding up. These four average 6.25, so the published score is 6. The thresholds behind every score are on my rating method page. This review replaces an earlier 9.0, which was set before anyone read the terms.
The Bonus, and What It Actually Costs
Velobet runs a three deposit welcome package, and the first deposit is the one worth looking at properly.
| Deposit | Match | Maximum | Minimum deposit |
|---|---|---|---|
| First, 10 to 500 euros | 150% | Up to the deposit band | 10 EUR |
| First, 500 to 1,000 euros | 100% | Up to the deposit band | 10 EUR |
| Second | 100% | 500 EUR | 20 EUR |
| Third | 80% | 500 EUR | 20 EUR |
The first deposit also carries 300 free spins. Thirty land immediately, and the other 270 unlock at 30 a day for nine days. Miss a day’s login and that day’s spins are gone for good.
Wagering is 30 times the deposit and the bonus added together. That formula is the expensive kind, because your own money is counted in the multiplier.
The 150 percent match softens it though. Deposit 100 euros, get 150 in bonus, and the 250 euro total at 30 times means 7,500 euros of turnover.
Per 100 euros of bonus money that works out at 5,000 euros of stakes. It is the second cheapest welcome offer I have measured, behind only BetLabel.
And you get 30 days rather than the seven that most of this market allows. A month to clear 7,500 euros at 5 euros a spin is a realistic schedule rather than a sprint.
Three conditions sit underneath, and one of them is the worst bonus clause I have read this week.
Winnings from a deposit bonus are capped at ten times the deposit that activated it. On a 100 euro deposit that is 1,000 euros, and the rest is forfeited.
The bonus has to be active before you deposit and before you place a bet. Activate it late and it does not apply, with no way to fix it afterwards.
Now the one to read twice. You can cancel an active bonus through live chat, and the terms say cancelling deducts three things from your balance.
The bonus itself, any winnings from it, and the total amount you have bet since you activated it. Your stakes are taken back, not just the bonus.
The same clause explains why. Bonus funds and real money are not kept in separate balances here, so there is no clean line between their money and yours.
In practice that means do not activate a bonus unless you intend to finish it. Backing out part way is more expensive than never starting.
There is a separate crypto welcome offer at 160 percent on a first crypto deposit between 10 and 1,000 euros. Deposit bonuses are closed to players in Thailand, Japan and Finland.
Getting Paid
Velobet puts a payout time in writing, which is the single thing I most want to see and most often do not.
Section 13 says all withdrawals, bank transfers included, are processed within three banking days. One number, every method.
The minimum withdrawal is 10 euros, which is among the lowest on this site. Amounts above a method’s ceiling are paid in instalments rather than refused.
Before your first withdrawal you have to wager your deposit once, at odds of at least 1.3. That rule is aimed at people who deposit and immediately cash out.
| What the terms say | Detail |
|---|---|
| Processing time | Three banking days, in writing |
| Minimum withdrawal | 10 EUR |
| Rollover before withdrawal | Deposit wagered once, at odds of 1.3 or higher |
| Casino fee | None stated |
| Bank transfer | Intermediary banks may charge, and USD payouts cannot use a wire |
| Maximum win | 100,000 euros per win on crypto play, jackpots excluded |
| Dormant account charge | 20 percent of the balance a month, after only 60 days |
| Currencies | Euro, US dollar, pound, plus Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Ripple, Bitcoin Cash, Tether, Monero and Dash |
Now the dormancy clause, because it deserves its own paragraph rather than a row in a table.
An account counts as inactive after 60 consecutive days without a login. Sixty days is two months, and plenty of people take a break that long without thinking about it.
From then on they charge 20 percent of the balance as it stood when the account went dormant, at the start of every month that follows.
Five months of that and the balance is gone. Their sister brand on the same license gives you a year and charges five percent, so this is a choice rather than a platform limit.
Withdraw your balance if you plan to stop playing here. Do not leave it sitting in the account.
The License, and Why I Could Check It
Velobet is run by Santeda International B.V., a Curacao company registered under number 151296, with Santeda International Limited handling payments.
The footer of every page carries license number OGL/2024/1798/1048, issued by the Curacao Gaming Authority under the new gambling act.
A number on its own means nothing. What matters is whether I can find it in the regulator’s own public register, so I looked it up.
| Register entry | What it says |
|---|---|
| License number | OGL/2024/1798/1048 |
| License holder | Santeda International B.V. |
| Regulator | Curacao Gaming Authority |
| Status in the register | Assessment in progress |
| Could I verify it myself | Yes, found in the regulator’s public register |
That puts Velobet ahead of most of the sites I review, where the license number either leads nowhere or belongs to a different company entirely.
Be clear about what the status means, though. Assessment in progress is a transitional entry while Curacao moves operators onto the new regime, not a finished approval.
A Curacao license also gives you far less than a Malta or UK one. There is no deposit limit requirement, no mandatory self-exclusion scheme and no independent adjudicator with teeth.
The same license covers Cosmobet, which I reviewed separately. Same operator, same terms engine, different dormancy numbers.
One clause I want on the record. The anti-fraud section lets them close an account and suspend every payout at their sole discretion, and says the player will not be told why.
Bankruptcy is listed as one of the triggers. I have no evidence they use the clause unfairly, but it is written broadly enough that you should know it is there.
Players in Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Georgia, Saba, Sint Maarten, the United States and its dependencies, and any country on the FATF blacklist cannot register.
What You Can Actually Play
The lobby is the strongest part of this casino, and the numbers are not padded.
I counted 9,846 casino games and 590 live dealer tables. That is a top-tier library, and the live section alone is bigger than some casinos’ entire catalogue.
| Category | What is there |
|---|---|
| Casino games | 9,846 |
| Live dealer tables | 590 |
| Live studios | Evolution, Pragmatic Play Live, Playtech Live, Imagine Live, LuckyStreak, SA Gaming, Skywind, Platipus, Amusnet, Asia Gaming, Betgames, XProGaming, 7Mojos, Winfinity, PatePlay, ICONIC21 |
| Slot studios | Pragmatic Play, Novomatic, Amatic, Wazdan, GameArt, BetSoft, Endorphina, Evoplay, Habanero, Fugaso |
| Sportsbook | Yes, alongside the casino |
| Demo play without an account | Not offered on the sister brand, and I could not confirm it here |
Evolution and Pragmatic Play Live together are what most people mean by a serious live casino, and both are here in depth.
The slot side leans European, with Novomatic and Amatic cabinets alongside the usual Pragmatic Play catalogue.
On demo play I will not claim what I could not test. I found no demo label in the lobby, and the sister brand answered a game click with a login box.
The site runs in English, Portuguese for Brazil, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Finnish and Norwegian. There is no Slovenian.
Support and Complaints
Live chat is the main channel and it is open around the clock. That is where you also have to go to cancel a bonus, which matters given what cancelling costs.
Complaints go to the compliance address listed in the terms. Keep your own copies of chat transcripts and screenshots, because the burden of proof will be on you.
What is missing is an independent route. A Curacao license comes with no alternative dispute resolution body you can escalate to, so the operator is effectively the final word.
Verification documents are the usual pattern. Identity, address and proof of the payment method, asked for before the first withdrawal rather than at sign-up.
Send them early. The three banking day promise starts when a withdrawal is approved, not when you click the button.
Who This Is For
Velobet suits a player who deposits, plays the lobby, and withdraws without touching a bonus.
For that player the proposition is good. Nearly 10,000 games, 590 live tables, a payout window in writing, a 10 euro minimum and a license number that checks out.
It does not suit a bonus hunter. Thirty times bonus plus deposit, a 10x win cap and a cancellation clause that claws back your stakes make the welcome offer a bad deal.
It also does not suit anyone who plays in bursts and then disappears for a couple of months. The 60 day dormancy rule will find you.
Slovenian players should know there is no Slovenian language option and no local payment method, so you are using a euro account in English.
My Verdict
Velobet scores six out of ten, and the two halves of that number pull in opposite directions.
The games library is a ten. The license is verifiable, which almost nothing else on my list manages, and the payout promise is specific enough to hold them to.
The bonus and the small print are where it loses the points. A 10x win cap, a clawback on cancellation and a dormancy charge five times harsher than their own sister brand.
Play here with your own money and keep the bonus switched off, and it is one of the better options I have looked at. Chase the bonus and you are working for very little.
FAQ About Velobet Casino
Is Velobet licensed?
Yes, and this one I could verify. The footer names Santeda International B.V., Curacao company number 151296, under license OGL/2024/1798/1048 from the Curacao Gaming Authority. I found that number in the regulator’s own public register, where it shows as assessment in progress under the new Curacao gambling act.
How long does Velobet take to pay out?
Their terms say all withdrawals, including bank transfers, are processed within three banking days. That is one number for every method, written into the terms rather than quoted by a support agent, which is unusually clear. The clock starts when the withdrawal is approved, so get your verification documents in early.
What is the minimum withdrawal at Velobet?
Ten euros, which is one of the lowest minimums I have found. Amounts above a payment method’s ceiling are paid out in instalments rather than refused. Before your first withdrawal you have to wager your deposit once at odds of 1.3 or higher.
Is the Velobet welcome bonus worth taking?
Not in my view. The headline is 150 percent up to 500 euros plus 300 free spins, but the wagering is 30 times bonus plus deposit, which works out to about 5,000 euros of turnover for every 100 euros of bonus. On top of that, winnings from a deposit bonus are capped at ten times the activating deposit.
What happens if I cancel a Velobet bonus?
This is the clause to read twice. Cancelling an active bonus deducts the bonus, any winnings from it, and the total amount you have bet since you activated it. Your stakes come back out too, because bonus funds and real money are not held in separate balances. Do not activate a bonus unless you intend to finish it.
How do the 300 free spins work?
You get 30 immediately and then 30 a day for the next nine days. The catch is that you have to log in each day to collect them, and a day you miss is a day you lose. Treat it as a reason to log in rather than as 300 spins in hand.
Does Velobet charge for inactive accounts?
Yes, and harshly. After 60 consecutive days without a login the account counts as dormant, and they then take 20 percent of the balance as it stood at that point, at the start of every month that follows. Five months and the balance is gone. Their sister brand on the same license allows a year and charges five percent, so this is a choice.
How many games does Velobet have, and can I try them for free?
I counted 9,846 casino games and 590 live dealer tables, which puts it near the top of anything I have reviewed. The live section runs Evolution, Pragmatic Play Live, Playtech Live and a dozen smaller studios. Slots lean European, with Novomatic and Amatic alongside the usual Pragmatic Play catalogue. I could not confirm it. There is no demo label anywhere in the lobby, and clicking a game on their sister brand, which runs on the same license and platform, returned a login box. I would assume you need a funded account, but I have not proven that one way or the other.
Which currencies and payment methods does Velobet accept?
Euros, US dollars and pounds, plus Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Ripple, Bitcoin Cash, Tether, Monero and Dash. There is no bank transfer option for US dollar payouts, and intermediary banks may take a cut of a wire. There is no Slovenian local payment method.
Is Velobet available in Slovenia?
Slovenia is not on their restricted list, so registration is open, but there is no Slovenian language option and no local payment method. You would be playing in English with a euro account. Slovenia does not license foreign online casinos, so you have no local regulator to complain to.
Who Wrote This

I came to this from finance, which is probably why I read a casino the way I read a contract. The marketing sits on the homepage, and the clause that decides whether you get paid sits twelve pages down.
