The withdrawal ceiling is the number that decides what a large win is actually worth, and fifteen of the casinos I rate cap you at €500 a day. At that rate a €20,000 win takes forty days to reach you, and that is before the monthly cap bites.
Two clauses control the money in a bonus. The maximum bet rule limits what you can stake while the bonus is live, and the withdrawal ceiling limits how fast the winnings come out. Every page in this bonus section refers to them, so this is the page that holds the numbers.
Everything below is taken from the casino reviews on this site, which were written from the operators’ own terms. Where a casino publishes a ladder rather than a single figure, I say so instead of quoting the friendly end of it.

The Published Ceiling Is Often the Top Rung, Not Yours
Four casinos in that table run a five step VIP ladder, and the step you join on is the lowest one. BassBet, Nomini, Zet and WinRolla all start every new account at €500 a day and €7,000 a month.
The top of those ladders looks very different. At BassBet, Nomini and Zet the fifth tier pays €1,500 a day and €20,000 a month. At WinRolla it reaches €5,000 a day and €75,000 a month, which is the highest monthly figure anywhere in my table.
This is where most listings go wrong. A database quotes one number per casino, and for these four it quotes the bottom rung without saying that is what it is. The number you will actually live with on day one is the bottom rung, so quoting it is fair. Quoting the top one as the casino’s limit is not.
You do not choose your tier either. It is calculated from how much you have played, so the ceiling rises only after you have spent enough to earn it.
How Long a €20,000 Win Takes to Reach You
This is the arithmetic nobody prints next to a welcome offer. I have taken a single €20,000 win and divided it by the ceiling that binds first, which is usually the monthly one.
| Ceiling | How many casinos | Time to receive €20,000 |
|---|---|---|
| €500 a day and €7,000 a month | 10 | Just under three months |
| €500 a day, no monthly figure published | 3 | Forty days |
| €1,000 a day | 3 | Twenty days |
| €4,000 a day and €50,000 a month | 4 | Five days |
| No published ceiling | 1 | One payment |
Those five groups cover 21 of the 36 casinos. The other fifteen mix periods, and for them the shortest period published is the one that binds. Stretch the same arithmetic to a €100,000 win and the €7,000 a month tier takes more than fourteen months, which turns a life changing win into an installment plan.
None of this means the money is lost. It means the casino holds it, pays it out in slices, and keeps your account open the whole time. Whether that matters to you depends entirely on how much you expect to win.
Where the Maximum Bet Rule Meets the Ceiling
The two clauses work on opposite ends of the same session. The maximum bet rule caps what you can stake while a bonus is running, and five euros a spin is the common figure. The ceiling caps what comes back out.
Put them together and the shape of a bonus becomes clear. A €1,000 bonus at a €5 cap is roughly two hundred spins at the ceiling for every thousand euros of wagering required, and whatever you win from it leaves at €500 a day.
Breaking the maximum bet rule is the expensive mistake, because it usually voids the bonus and everything won with it. I keep the per casino maximum bet figures on the high roller bonuses page, where they matter most.
The Casinos That Pay a Jackpot Outside the Ceiling
A progressive jackpot is exactly the win a ceiling would ruin. A seven figure prize at €7,000 a month is not a prize, it is a pension, so some casinos write an exemption into their terms.
Three of the casinos I rate state it plainly. National Casino, HellSpin and CasinoChan all write that progressive jackpot wins are paid in full, outside the normal limits. If you play jackpot games at all, that clause is worth more than any welcome offer on the site.
The rest say nothing about jackpots, which means the ordinary ceiling applies. There is more on eligibility and the four ways to be out of a jackpot draw on my jackpot slots tips page.
What to Check Before You Deposit
Find the ceiling for the shortest period the casino publishes, then multiply it out to a month and compare that with the monthly figure. If the monthly number is far lower, the monthly number is your real limit.
Check whether the ceiling is a single figure or a VIP ladder, and if it is a ladder, read the first rung rather than the last. Then check whether jackpot wins are exempt, and whether the maximum bet rule applies only while a bonus is live or to every bet you place.
Finally, size your deposit against the ceiling rather than against the bonus. There is little point taking a large offer at a casino that cannot pay out what the offer could produce.
Where to Go Next
If you are weighing a specific offer, the page on whether a bonus is worth taking prices the wagering itself. If the stake cap is your concern, the high roller bonuses page carries the maximum bet figure for every casino that publishes one.
For offers that clear quickly enough that the ceiling never becomes a problem, start with low wagering bonuses. The full set of offers sits on the bonuses hub.
FAQ About Withdrawal Limits and Maximum Bet Rules
What is a casino withdrawal limit?
It is the maximum amount a casino will pay out in a given period, usually written as a figure per day, per week or per month. It applies to your own money as well as to winnings, and it is set in the terms rather than shown at the cashier.
Which casino has the highest withdrawal limit?
Of the casinos I rate, one publishes no ceiling at all and WinRolla reaches €75,000 a month at the top VIP level. The practical answer for a new account is different, because most ladders start at €500 a day.
What is the most common withdrawal limit?
Fifteen of the thirty six casinos I rate cap withdrawals at €500 a day, which makes it by far the most common figure. Ten of those also publish a monthly ceiling of €7,000.
How long does it take to withdraw a big win?
Divide the win by whichever published ceiling binds first, which is usually the monthly one. A €20,000 win at €7,000 a month takes just under three months, and the same win at €4,000 a day takes five days.
Do withdrawal limits apply to jackpot wins?
Not always. National Casino, HellSpin and CasinoChan all state that progressive jackpot wins are paid in full, outside the normal ceilings. The casinos that say nothing about jackpots apply the ordinary limit.
What is the maximum bet rule on a casino bonus?
It caps how much you can stake on a single spin or hand while bonus money is in play, and five euros is the usual figure. Breaking it normally voids the bonus and everything won with it.
Can a casino change my withdrawal limit?
Yes, and several do it automatically through VIP tiers that are calculated from how much you have played. You do not apply for a higher tier, so the ceiling rises only after enough turnover has passed through the account.
Why do casinos set withdrawal limits at all?
The stated reasons are fraud control and liquidity, and both are real. The effect on you is the same either way, which is that a large win arrives in installments rather than at once.
Does a withdrawal limit mean I lose the rest of the money?
No. The balance stays in your account and is paid out in the following period, as long as the account remains open and verified. It is a delay rather than a confiscation.
Which limit applies if a casino publishes several?
The shortest period published is the one you feel first, but the longer period is usually the one that binds on a large win. Check the daily figure against the monthly one, because thirty days at the daily cap is often far more than the monthly cap allows.
Who Wrote This

This page exists because the same two clauses kept turning up in every bonus review I wrote, and repeating them on each page was making all of them longer and none of them clearer. The numbers here are read from the operators’ own terms and recorded in the individual casino reviews, which is why every row links back to one.
If you find a casino on this list paying faster or slower than its published ceiling, that is worth knowing and I would like to hear it. Terms change quietly, and a table like this is only as good as its last check.
18+. Gambling can be addictive. A withdrawal ceiling is a reason to be careful about how much you deposit, not a reason to chase a bigger win to make the wait worthwhile. The figures here come from terms that operators can change, so read the current version before you deposit. If gambling stops being entertainment, stop and seek help.
