Home » Sweet Bonanza 1000 Slot Review

Sweet Bonanza 1000 prints four separate return figures on one screen, and one of them is for a feature you have to pay 500 times your bet to open. That is more disclosure than almost anything else I have opened. I score it 6 out of 10.

This is Pragmatic Play‘s 2024 sequel to a 2019 game that is still everywhere. Six reels, five rows, symbols pay anywhere, winners tumble away and new ones drop in. The 1000 in the name is a multiplier value, not a bigger ceiling.

I opened the demo on this site on 22 October 2026 and read all seven rules pages, then checked both of the studio’s own websites. Here is what each of them says.

Sweet Bonanza 1000 at a Glance

Everything below was read from one of three places, and the column on the right says which. Where two of them disagree, both figures are printed.

Four returns, a hit frequency, a volatility label and a cap, all published. The two rows at the bottom are what is still missing, and they are the two that decide what a session feels like.

The Score, and What Went Into It

I score a slot on four criteria. Where a studio publishes nothing a criterion can be built from, I leave that criterion unscored, say so here, and average the ones that remain.

CriterionScoreWhy
Return to player996.53 percent sits in the 96.50 to 96.99 band, printed inside the game rather than only in marketing, and every variant of play is given its own figure instead of hidden inside a range
Cost of reaching the feature6The cheapest buy costs 100x the bet, the bottom of the 100x to 199x band. The 500x super buy does not make this worse, because nobody has to press it
Volatility honesty4One of the three figures is published, the hit frequency at 42.92 percent. The feature frequency and the odds of the cap are missing, which is the usual gap
Session survivabilityNot scoredThe band needs a published feature frequency. There is none, so I will not invent a spin count and dress it up as measurement
Overall6 / 10Nine, six and four, averaged and rounded

The full method, with every band written out, sits on the rating method page. A six here is a well documented game with a buy button and one missing number, not a bad one.

The Sweet Bonanza 1000 RTP Is Four Numbers, Not One

Open the information screen, turn to page four, and the game gives you a block of four returns rather than a headline. I have not seen another slot do this in full.

How you are playingWhat it returnsDifference from normal play
Ordinary spins96.53%The baseline
With the ante bet switched on96.50%Three hundredths worse
Buying free spins at 100x96.52%One hundredth worse
Buying super free spins at 500x96.55%Two hundredths better

Read from the game’s own rules screen on 22 October 2026. The spread across all four is five hundredths of a percentage point, which is the point: the choice you make barely moves the number.

Why this matters more than the figures themselves. Most studios publish one return and leave you guessing whether the ante bet or the buy quietly costs you something. Pragmatic has done the arithmetic and put all four on the screen.

Compare that with the original. Sweet Bonanza states its return as a range, a minimum of 96.49 percent and a maximum of 96.6, and leaves you to work out which end applies to you. The sequel replaced a range with four exact numbers.

One habit still applies. Pragmatic licenses lower builds of several titles, so the rules screen in your casino is the only figure that binds. If it reads something other than 96.53 percent, trust the screen in front of you.

Buying the Sweet Bonanza 1000 Super Round Returns More Than Playing Normally

Look again at the last row of that table. Buying the super free spins at 500 times your bet returns 96.55 percent, and ordinary spinning returns 96.53. The expensive button is the mathematically better one.

That is rare enough to be worth stopping on, because the usual pattern runs the other way. Gates of Olympus 1000 returns 96.49 percent on its buy against 96.50 on ordinary play, which is the normal small penalty.

Now the part that matters more than the two hundredths. A 500x buy at the minimum stake costs 100 euros, and the return figure does not change what that does to a balance. Two hundredths of a percentage point is twenty cents on a thousand euros of turnover.

So read it as information rather than advice. The super buy is not a trick, the studio is not taking an extra cut for it, and it is still the fastest way to turn a hundred euros into nothing.

The 25,000x Cap Is Not Much Bigger Than the Original’s

The loading screen says win up to 25,000x bet, and page three of the rules turns that into a clause. The cap applies in the base game and in free spins alike.

If the total win of a free spins round reaches 25,000x, the round ends immediately, the win is awarded, and every remaining free spin is forfeited. Forfeited, not banked. That is standard now and it is still worth knowing before it happens.

Here is the part the name hides. The original caps at 21,175 times the bet, so the sequel adds about eighteen percent to the ceiling, not a thousand of anything.

GameCapOdds of reaching it
Sweet Bonanza 100025,000xNot published
Sweet Bonanza21,175xNot published
Duck Hunters30,000x1 in 22 million, published by the studio

Two of these three ceilings come with no probability attached. The third shows what it looks like when a studio is willing to tell you how far away its own headline number sits.

At the 0.20 minimum stake, 25,000x is five thousand euros. That is a real number for a small stake, and the absence of any published probability is exactly why I cannot tell you what it is worth.

The Sweet Bonanza 1000 Multiplier Ladder and Where the Name Comes From

The name refers to a symbol. During free spins only, multiplier bombs drop onto the reels carrying a value, and the top value on the ladder is 1,000x.

Where the value sitsWhat a bomb can carry
Small2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 6x, 8x
Middle10x, 12x, 15x, 20x, 25x
Large50x, 100x
The one on the box1,000x

Fourteen fixed values, read from page two of the rules. Notice the jump from 100x straight to 1,000x with nothing in between, and notice that no source publishes how often any of them lands.

How they combine is the important bit. A bomb stays on the screen until the tumbling sequence ends. When it does, every value on screen is added together and the sequence total is multiplied by that sum.

Added, not multiplied by each other. Two 1,000x bombs make 2,000x, not a million. That one word is why the cap can sit at 25,000x without the game breaking, and the rules state it plainly.

The free spins round itself is small. Four or more scatters award ten spins, and three or more landing inside the round add five more. Special reels are in play while it runs.

What Changes Against Sweet Bonanza

Both games sit in the same lobbies and the sequel is sold as the bigger one. Side by side, most of what changed is documentation rather than mathematics.

My score6 / 106 / 10

Hit frequencies come from the studio’s own demo site, read on 22 October 2026. Everything else came from inside each game.

Read the middle of that table and the trade is obvious. The sequel pays something on about 43 spins in a hundred where the original pays on 50, and the label moves from low to medium to say so.

That is seven fewer paying spins per hundred bought with four hundredths of extra return and an eighteen percent taller ceiling. Whether that is a good deal depends entirely on whether you were ever going to reach the ceiling.

Both end on the same score, and for different reasons. The original loses marks for publishing its return as a range, the sequel loses them for the second buy button. They arrive at six by opposite routes.

Two Sweet Bonanza 1000 Buy Prices and an Ante Bet That Cancels Them

Three shortcuts sit on the left of the screen, and only one of them can be used at a time. The rules are explicit about which combinations exist.

ShortcutWhat it costsWhat it gives you
Buy free spins100x the base bet, 20 euros at the minimumFour or more scatters guaranteed on the triggering spin
Buy super free spins500x the base bet, 100 euros at the minimumThe same guarantee, and every multiplier bomb carries at least 20x
Ante bet25 percent more on every spinDouble the natural chance of the feature, and both buy buttons switch off

Read from page three of the rules and confirmed on the buttons, which showed 200 and 1,000 dollars at a two dollar bet. You choose one route to the feature, never two.

The super buy is the one worth understanding properly. For five times the price you are not buying a better chance of the round, you already had that at 100x. You are buying a floor under every multiplier inside it.

That floor is 20x, which sits two thirds of the way up the ordinary ladder. It removes the rounds where four bombs land and all four are small, which is the way a bought feature usually disappoints.

My method scores the cheapest route, so this game sits in the 100x to 199x band at a six. The 500x button costs five times as much and does not change the band, because nothing forces you to press it.

What Fifty Euros Reaches in Sweet Bonanza 1000

The game states its stake range as 0.20 to 300.00. The studio’s demo site says 0.2 to 240, the same disagreement I found on Gates of Olympus 1000, and the game is the one that binds because it is the one you are playing.

What fifty euros isAt the 0.20 minimum
Ordinary spins250 spins
Spins that pay something, at 42.92 percentAbout 107 of those 250
Spins with the ante bet on, at 0.25 each200 spins
Bought free spins rounds, at 100xTwo rounds, with ten euros left
Bought super rounds, at 500xNone. One costs twice your balance

My arithmetic from the published figures, not the studio’s. The missing row is how many of those 250 spins would reach the feature on their own, because nobody publishes a feature frequency for this game.

That hit frequency is the friendliest number on this page. Something lands on roughly four spins in ten, which is why the medium label here is doing honest work rather than decoration.

Just do not confuse paying something with paying more than you staked. A tumble that returns 0.08 on a 0.20 spin counts in that 42.92 percent and still takes twelve cents off the balance.

The missing feature frequency is the whole reason this scores a six rather than an eight. I can tell you what a session costs and how often a spin pays. I cannot tell you how long you would wait for the round the game is built around.

Four Clauses to Check Before You Play It for Money

The game is the same everywhere. The terms wrapped around it are not, and that is where a session quietly gets more expensive. Four things are worth thirty seconds each.

First, the return printed in the game information panel, every time you open the game at a casino you have not used before. Plenty of slots ship in more than one build, and that panel is the only place the figure you are actually playing is shown.

Second, how the game counts toward wagering, and whether buying a feature voids an active bonus. Slots usually count in full, but feature purchases are excluded under most terms and some casinos cancel the bonus outright for one. The wagering terms are where both of those live.

Third, the maximum stake allowed while a bonus is running. It is commonly five euros a spin, and going over it once is enough for a casino to void everything the bonus produced.

Fourth, the cap on what you may withdraw from bonus winnings. A large maximum win means nothing if the terms stop your payout well below it, and that ceiling is printed in the bonus terms rather than in the game.

What an Hour of Sweet Bonanza 1000 Costs

The return figure on its own tells you nothing about what a session costs. What costs you money is the return multiplied by how much you push across the table, and a slot pushes a great deal. Six hundred spins in an hour is an ordinary pace once autoplay is running.

At 96.53 percent the house keeps 3.47 percent of everything staked. Here is what that is worth at three ordinary stakes, using the same model as my cost per hour table.

Stake per spinWagered in an hourHouse edgeCost of the hour
€0.20€1203.47%€4.16
€0.50€3003.47%€10.41
€1.00€6003.47%€20.82

Six hundred spins an hour, the house edge applied to everything wagered in that hour. These are averages over a very long run, not a prediction for one session, and the swings in either direction are far larger than the edge.

The demo on this site runs the same build as the real money game, on play money that resets when you reload. No account and no deposit. It is where every figure above was read, and page four of the rules is where you can check all four returns yourself.

To compare the two games directly, the original demo runs here as well, and the review of it carries the same figures read the same way.

Where to Play Sweet Bonanza 1000 for Real Money

Twenty seven of the 36 casinos I have reviewed record Pragmatic Play in the supplier list pulled from their lobby, so this is one of the easier games on the site to find. Seven of those reach seven out of ten.

The two columns below are the ones worth weighing on a game with a 500x buy button, because what a bonus costs in turnover and how fast a win leaves the account both decide what that button really costs you.

Five of the seven are shown. Each score is the average of four criteria, rounded, and the terms fairness column that settles ties lives inside every review.

Playfina takes it on the tiebreak. It and National both sit at 7.25 before rounding, they match on terms fairness at six and on payouts at eight, and bonus value separates them at seven against six. 22Casino matches Playfina on bonus value but scores four on terms fairness, which is the column I weight hardest.

I came to this from finance, which is probably why I read a casino the way I read a contract. The marketing sits on the homepage, and the clause that decides whether you get paid sits twelve pages down.

I am responsible for everything published here, including the gaps. I opened this game on 22 October 2026 and read the four return figures, the cap clause, the multiplier ladder and both buy prices from its own seven rules screens. Where the game and the studio’s demo site disagree on the maximum stake, I have printed both instead of picking the tidier one. This is one of the better documented slots I have put through the method, and it still will not tell me how often the feature lands. If that figure ever appears, send it to me and I will rescore the game and date the change.

18+. Gambling can be addictive. A 96.53 percent return is a long run average across millions of spins and it describes no single session, including yours. A 500x buy button turns a hundred euros into one round, and a round that disappoints costs the same as one that does not.
