Sugar Rush is the first Pragmatic Play<\/a> game I have reviewed that answers the question I keep asking the others. It publishes one return figure, it publishes the return when you buy the feature, and the two are the same number. That is rarer than it should be.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is also the game that showed me a problem on our own site. There are two slots called Sugar Rush in the library here and only one of them is this one. I will come to that, because if you clicked the obvious link you were playing a different game by a different studio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Score, and What Went Into It<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Casinos on this site are scored on four published criteria and so are games. I score what the studio publishes, not how the game felt over twenty spins, and where nothing is published that a criterion can be built from I leave it unscored and say so.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nine plus six plus four is nineteen, divided by three is 6.33. The bands behind each number are on my method page.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Six out of ten is the third Pragmatic game in a row to land there, and the repetition is the finding rather than a shortcut. All three have a fair return, all three price the buy at exactly one hundred times the stake, and all three publish a hit frequency on a studio website most players never open while putting nothing inside the game. The scores are identical because the games are built to the same disclosure policy. I scored volatility honesty at three when this review first went up, because I had looked only at the game and the corporate game page. On 21 October 2026 I found the hit frequency on pragmaticplay.fun, the studio\u2019s own demo site, and raised that criterion to four on all three games. None of the three overall scores moves. Buying the Sugar Rush Feature Does Not Change the Return<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Page four of the paytable carries two lines, one under the other. The theoretical return of the game is 96.50 percent. The return when using Buy Free Spins is 96.50 percent. Identical to the hundredth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That is worth more than it looks. On Money Train 5<\/a> the buy actually returns more than the base game, 96.5 against 96.1, which rewards the player who pays. Plenty of other slots do the opposite and never print the figure at all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here the studio has told you that the button is neutral. You are not being charged a premium for impatience and you are not being handed an edge either. One hundred times your stake buys you the feature now instead of later, at the same price per euro staked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It also removes the question most players cannot answer on their own. Without the second line you would have to guess whether the buy was a trap. Pragmatic answered it in one sentence on a screen almost nobody opens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Sugar Rush Multiplier Builds Where You Already Won<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The grid is seven by seven and wins form as clusters of five or more touching symbols. When a cluster pays, those symbols vanish and new ones drop into the gap, which is the tumbling mechanic Pragmatic uses across its catalog.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What makes this game different is where the multiplier lives. Every cell that produces a win gets a multiplier spot, and each further win in that same cell doubles it. The ladder runs 2x, 4x, 8x, 16x, 32x, 64x and tops out at 128x.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So the game rewards repeated wins in one place rather than one big cluster. In the free spins the spots stay live for the whole round instead of resetting, which is the entire reason the feature is worth buying and the reason the base game feels so flat beside it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ceiling is 5,000 times your bet, shown on the intro screen. At the twenty cent minimum that is one thousand euros. Pragmatic publishes no odds of reaching it, which is the same gap I have found on every game of theirs I have scored.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two Games on This Site Are Called Sugar Rush<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

While checking the demo for this review I found that our library holds two different slots under this name, and the plain address was pointing at the wrong one. We swapped the two addresses on 21 October 2026, the same day I found it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fixed on 21 October 2026. The old address for the Pragmatic game redirects to the plain one, and the Blue Tower game moved to an address that names its studio.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n

This happens because our library carries tens of thousands of titles pulled from a feed, and two studios are free to use the same name. I counted the rest while I was there: 1,077 names in this library are shared by two or more games. This was the only one that any review on this site pointed at.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Six of these nine are published, which is the best disclosure of any Pragmatic game I have scored. The three that are missing are the three that would let you test the volatility claim.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Set that against Sweet Bonanza<\/a>, where the same studio publishes its return as a range and then calls the game low volatility. Same company, same year, and two very different ideas of how much a player is owed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The minimum stake is twenty cents and fifty euros is the deposit most welcome offers are built around, so that is where the arithmetic starts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The buy costs 100 times the stake, so one feature at the minimum is twenty euros. At the two euro stake I used in the demo the same button asks for two hundred.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The last row is the one that matters here. On most games I have to warn that buying changes the return. On this one the studio has printed that it does not, so the choice is about when you spend rather than how much the game takes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Four Clauses to Check Before You Play It for Money<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The game is the same everywhere. The terms wrapped around it are not, and that is where a session quietly gets more expensive. Four things are worth thirty seconds each.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First, the return printed in the game information panel, every time you open the game at a casino you have not used before. Plenty of slots ship in more than one build, and that panel is the only place the figure you are actually playing is shown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Second, how the game counts toward wagering, and whether buying a feature voids an active bonus. Slots usually count in full, but feature purchases are excluded under most terms and some casinos cancel the bonus outright for one. The wagering terms<\/a> are where both of those live.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Third, the maximum stake allowed while a bonus is running. It is commonly five euros a spin, and going over it once is enough for a casino to void everything the bonus produced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
